Jennifer Hudson’s lookin’ good!
Is it just me or did Jennifer Hudson look the best she ever has this New Year’s eve?! Grammy win for Dreamgirls, $1,000,000. That “new” Saleisha inspired do (which I’m SOOO over!), $250. A girdle that makes you look like you’ve lost 50 pounds while wearing what appears to be stretch White satin, PRICELESS!! Project RunwayIs it just me or is Project Runway just snorsville this season? Usually, this far into the competition, I have strong feelings of love or hate for everyone, but this year…even Michael Kors and Nnnnnina Garrrrcia are letting me down.
Okay, it’s not all bad. I do have affection for Ricky because I love crybabies (nothing wrong with a few tears) and Jillian because, well, last night she wore rainbow suspenders and didn’t look like Mork. The others though? Eh.
Last night was a (yawn) candy competition, meaning the designers had to run into the Time Square Hershey store and snatch up anything they could in, like, 5 minutes and “make it work.” The results were predictable, and the bad was so, so, bad. Here they are (the loser is top row center, the winner bottom row center).
I really hope things pick up because Project Runway has the capacity to bring me great pleasure, and what with the writer’s strike, the pickings are slim in TV land.
C’mon, Michael and Nina, say something super-bitchy already.

Jude Law to Play Halston. Maybe.
Jude Law as Halston? Works for me. Too bad it’s only a rumor that’s being denied by the Weinstein company. What is true is that Weistein bought the rights to the Halston brand name a while back, and there’s a documentary is in the works. The buzz might be stemming from Jude’s (also rumored) affiliation with another Halston biopic.
I really hope there’s some truth in all this because the Halston story, which includes a Midwestern upbringing, Studio 54 glamour, drug addiction and an AIDS-related death, would make a great film, and the talent (and looks) of someone like Jude Law are essential.
We’ll see.
