New Years Resolution: Welcome the mysterious Miss Bruno into your life in 2008.
The work of two Brooklynite sisters, the current collection of “my so-called scarves” (made by their very own hands) will be enough to satisfy you…at least until Miss Bruno’s new line of dresses hits in March at Brooklyn Fashion Week(end).
Check out their website, go deep and shop. Every piece is made to order from recycled material and one-of-a-kind–they’ll make it how you like it.

This is the card John Galliano sent out this New Year. We’re gonna pretend he sent us one. His greeting read:
“Don’t stop celebrating. May 2008 be a year of inspiration, adventure, joy and hope for us all. God bless, and see you at the couture!”

I admit to not liking Juno, and I know I’m pretty much alone in that sentiment. But, “honest to blog,” that dialogue made my head hurt. However, I’m not a total jerk, and even though the film was not the “cheese to my macaroni” as it were, I was enchanted by that little Ellen Page.
I’m not made of stone, people.
And if you like her, too, I suggest you see Hard Candy, a movie that captured Page’s talent a little better than Ivan Reitman’s son did. You also might like the fashion spread the actress did in Los Angeles Times Magazine this weekend.
Pretty freaking cute.
Oh, and she’s Canadian. I love it.

Yesterday I wore dark jeans with a cuff, and argyle sweater and brown boots. I felt just like Jake Ryan.
