Wowzers, Bosworth, I didn’t know you had it in you.
Vogue gets really interesting in their February issue, and Kate Bosworth turns that mutha out. Titled “Seven Dates with Kate,” the story features the usually fresh-faced actress taking on unexpected personas while donning today’s big ITS of fashion: Thakoon, 3.1 Philip Lim, Proenza Schouler, Door.Ri, Rodarte, Rag & Bone and Derek Lam. The designers, who all talk about how taken they are with Kate in the article, are also featured in the spread.
The pictures are amazing. I can’t get enough.
Hey, Lindsay, watch out; there’s a new muse in town, and she’s coming for your clothes.

If you read this blog with the dedication with which it is meant to be read, then you know I have a slight obsession with Karl Lagerfeld. I’m not really obsessed with his designs, although I am a fan. No, I’m mostly into his snobby fashionisto persona and his ponytail.
I sort of wish I was him.
And I guess people like me are the reason Pixi and Lagerfeld felt the time was right to create this 10cm lead figurine. Okay, actually I wouldn’t spend $300 on something like this, but still. It’s fun to look at.
They only made 1000 of these little guys, and you can only get them at Colette in Paris, so good luck if you want one.

Dedicated to David over at TV Celeb News, here’s Rilo Kiley’s “Silver Lining.” I love Jenny Lewis‘ outfit in this video–I’m a sucker for the majorette look. If you know who designed it, tell me.
And here are our favorite internet moments of the week:

- Trendinista schools us on the fashion donts of F/W 08. Boy bibs make the list.
- Around the Way Girls explores Alexander McQueen’s wordly F/W 08 collection.
- Heather over at Schmashion really wants a damn body suit. Who doesn’t?
- We loved Erika Badu’s look this week, and Obsessed-Hoopla knows where she got the shoes.
- It’s Fendi vs. a Forever 21 knockoff at Sweet and Vicious.
- LA Times’ All the Rage declares the death of the IT bag. Duh, we’re all too poor now.
