I’ve never quite been able to forgive Raven Symone for ruining The Cosby Show, and this outfit she wore to the Christian Audigier One World L.A. Fashion Week last night doesn’t help.
I love this picture–it looks like she just woke up from sleep walking and she can’t believe what she’s wearing. It’s a very “Where am I? Who am I?” moment.
Girl, where are your pants????

P.S. I apologize for slapping this post above the Dalai Lama. There goes any ounce of good karma I had left.

Celebrity designers are nothing new, but can you believe the Dalai Lama is getting in on the act!?!? Fashionista reports that the His Holiness will be working with Tonic, the do-gooder fashion label that forks over about 40% of their revenue to charities, to create a signature t-shirt line to be released in October. A big chunk of the moola will go to causes chosen by the Dalai Lama.
I think it will be huge. What do you think?

I bought these Joe’s High-Waist Jeans about a month ago, and I will endorse them to threadtrend readers.
Here are the high points:
- stretchiness=comfort
- the long hem makes them extra cool
- the stitching adds character but won’t give you thunderous hips
- wide leg is super-flattering and very London 1978
The down-side:
- these babies grow, so you have to buy them skin tight
- the color is sweet, but it comes off on your hands and everything else
- if they’re not small enough, they’ll give you a pot belly
As you can see, most of the thumbs down stuff is preventable. I really like these jeans–they’re the kind of jeans that feel like sweats, but you look hot in them. Oh, and if you’re short, don’t fret, I hemmed them a good 3 inches and they still look good.
