I love Ghost World–I love the movie, and I love the graphic novel by Daniel Clowes even more. Recently, Nylon did a spread celebrating the style of Enid, although they mistakenly and embarrassingly called Thora Birch’s character “Edith” as our friends at Fashion Intelligentsia point out:

I’ve decided to forgive Nylon, though, since I’m pro-anything that celebrates Ghost World (no matter how inaccurate), and plus it got me to re-read the book. Not to mention, that sailor blouse is just what the doctor ordered.
I thought I’d end this post with an astute Enid quote:
“Even if you just want something like a totally pair of shoes, it’s impossible! I’d pay like a million dollars for just a normal pair of black shoes.”
Do yourself a favor and buy Ghost World by Daniel Clowes.
