Graduations are so boring that I left my last one early–I mean, really, how many optimistic speeches about soaring toward the stars can you really sit through ? However, if I were graduating from Kings College this year, I would stay put through the whole thing…because I’d be wearing a Vivienne Westwood graduation gown! Gasp!
Westwood created 20 different robes in a bunch of colors for each of the schools at the college. They’ll be unveiled at the school soon–we’ll post pictures, of course.

The marriage of music and fashion is nothing new; its almost as if both were predestined to go together. Next week SHOWstudio and Swarovski are joining forces to bring you “Fashion DJs”, a 3 day event that will celebrate the merging of fashion and music.
Already confirmed to be taking part in this event are such fashion heavyweights as Naomi Campbell, Gareth Pugh, Giles Deacon, Stephen Jones, Jefferson Hack and Bella Freud. Each guest will get a chance to DJ a set comprised of their own picks.
