Threadtrend

“Fuck yeah!” fashion is how I’d describe Rodarte’s Spring 09 collection. It’s true, here at Threadtrend we’re major fans of the sisters Mulleavy, but oh how they continue to earn our hard-to-earn love.

There were tight and shiny pants left over from their last collection along with that fleshy neutral they seem to love, but this season was less ballet and more futuristic. Actually, it wasn’t ballet at all–it was more hard rock. I want to believe in the Rodarte future where there’s impeccable draping, fishnet leggings and glamorously tattered clothes like this. Oh, and lots of platforms. Lots.
