So, this “Girl Say Yes to Boys Who Say Obama” poster created by some Brooklyn girls is causing controversy among some people who are taking it WAY too seriously. It’s just a little cheeky fun in the midst of a super-intense election and, in my opinion, not worth getting all juiced up about. Nobody is seriously advocating trading sex for Obama votes, and if they are, who cares? It’s better than getting screwed by a McCain administration.
Here’s the famous 60s anti-war poster, featuring Joan Baez, that this new one is referencing:
