It’s suede, which makes it kind of cold-weathery, but then it’s bright blue, which is kind of summery. The result? Perfect transitional shoe. I like the simple rounded point, and the visual interest of the cut out. Very nice, and on sale at JCrew for $69.99.

The time has come–you can now get the Hayden-Harnett collection at Target. I haven’t seen them in person, but the photos are seductive enough. Super vintage-y. Plus, they only go as high as $49.99. I like this giant clutch (it comes with strings attached if you want to wear it on your shoulder) pictured above. It’s pretty classy, as you can see, but not humdrum. It also comes in black.
Here are some other highlights:

Jesus H. Christ! It’s like all my wildest dreams are coming true. It’s official, those delicious rumors that were being thrown around in August have finally come to fruition: Alexander McQueen will design for Target.
The line, which will debut in spring, is part of a new brand called Designer Collaborations and not part of the Go International line that we’ve come to love and hate. This McQueen/Target offering will be an extension of his McQ diffusion line, and has “the potential to skew toward a slightly older guest compared to some of our other designer collections” according to the VP of Target.
Can’t wait!

From Urban Outfitters to JCPenney, Charlotte Ronson is on a mission to mass produce. For her latest deal, the designer will produce a Spring 2009 line for JCPenney called I”Heart” Ronson. Obvs, the collection will be youthful and vintage-y and maybe a hit.
“I am delighted to create a new collection, I “Heart” Ronson for JCPenney. I see this as a great opportunity to open up my sense of fashion and style to a much wider audience,” said Ronson in the press release.

The Anya Hindmarch for Target bags are now available for pre-order on the Target site. Of course, I can never fully promote the purchasing of designer discount lines until I see the actual pieces in person, but I have to say these handbags look pretty cute.
The one pictured is the most expensive at $49.95, and the clutches are the cheapest at $19.99. You can pre-order now, and they’ll ship in 2-6 weeks. It’s hard to say if the pre-order is necessary, but better safe than sorry, right?

It doesn’t happen everyday, but sometimes Steve Madden really pulls through with a great shoe. Take these “Impereal” T-straps, for example.
Better than the average mary jane and less than a $100–that’s what I’m talking about.
Available at Zappos.

Everyone’s going gaga for the Isaac Mizrahi fall collection for Target. I must admit, I’m getting swept up by the hoopla thanks to these preview pics. I love chic, inexpensive work clothes. Of course, I’ve learned it’s a often a mistake to fall head over heels for Target clothes before you actually see them in person, but I remain cautiously optimistic.
However, if these images speak the truth, Isaac is really going out with a bang!
